One of the best ways to accomplish this goal is by giving back to the communities in which we serve. In fact, helping others is what we do best.
We give back to the community not because we have to but because we want to. We at Carrara are one big family, and family takes care of each other. Our communities are inclusive to this belief, and we are there — no matter what the cause.
So how do we give back? Earlier this year, we hosted an online email auction to raise money for a colleague who was diagnosed with Acute Lymphatic Leukemia. All proceeds went directly to the family to assist in the mounting medical bills from his treatment. We also continue to support the American Cancer Society, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, March of Dimes, St. Vincent DePaul Society, and the American Heart Association through fundraisers and volunteer work.
In addition, we host an annual charity golf benefit, which raises money for Stark County Community Services Inc. This organization is dedicated to finding permanent homes and families for children in need, as well as providing adoption and maternity services for all members of the family. We are proud to support such a giving organization, and look forward to the event every year.
